1. Prepare
Cover your workspace and keep a small bowl of clean water nearby.
2. Knead
Remove the clay from its packaging and knead for 2–3 minutes until smooth and pliable.
3. Create
Roll, mould, sculpt, carve or shape your ideas using your hands or simple sculpting tools.
4. Dry & Finish
Allow your creation to air-dry naturally for 24–72 hours depending on its thickness. Once fully dry, you can sand, paint, varnish or fire it for a ceramic finish.
Tip: Use a little water to smooth surfaces, repair cracks or join separate pieces while sculpting.
Drying time depends on the thickness of your creation and the surrounding environment.

To keep your clay fresh and workable for as long as possible:
Before Opening
Store unopened packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
After Opening
- Wrap unused clay tightly in its original packaging.
- Remove as much air as possible before sealing.
- Store inside an airtight container or zip-lock bag.
- Keep in a cool, dry location.
For extended storage, place a slightly damp paper towel inside the container without allowing it to touch the clay directly.
Reusing Clay
If the clay begins to stiffen, knead in a few drops of clean water until it becomes soft again.
While sculpting, always keep unused clay covered with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.

Clay feels too sticky?
Leave it uncovered for 10–15 minutes before continuing. If needed, lightly dust your hands with a small amount of cornstarch.
Clay feels too dry?
Add a few drops of water and knead thoroughly until smooth.
Cracks appearing while drying?
Allow your project to dry more gradually by loosely covering it with plastic. Large pieces should be hollow where possible.
Pieces won’t stick together?
Score both joining surfaces, dampen them with water or clay slip, then press together firmly and smooth the seam.

Does Opulent Craft Clay require baking?
No. It dries naturally, so baking isn't required. Once dry, you can paint and finish your creations. For a stronger, long-lasting ceramic finish, finished pieces may also be fired in a kiln.
How long does it take to dry?
Most creations dry within 24-72 hours, depending on their thickness and the surrounding environment.
Can children use it?
Yes. Opulent Craft Clay is made with non-toxic materials and is suitable for children's creative activities with appropriate adult supervision.
Can I paint my finished creation?
Absolutely. Once completely dry, you can paint, decorate, varnish or seal your creation.
Can unused clay be reused?
Yes. Store it correctly in an airtight container. If it begins to stiffen, knead in a few drops of water until it softens.
Is the clay waterproof after drying?
No. Air-dried clay is not naturally waterproof. Applying a suitable sealant can help protect finished creations from moisture.
Can I get individual packaging bags with larger packs?
Individual packaging bags are only included with the 1 Pack (800g) product. Larger packs are supplied in cartons. If you require multiple individually packaged units, please order the corresponding quantity of 1 Pack (800g) products.
